Our Production Process
Our process is designed to let you do what you do best - mange your business.
There are a lot of technical details that go into the production of a website
that not everyone is capable of managing. This is why we offer fully managed
website development so you don't have to hire photographers, application developers,
copy writers, find a domain, and web hosting all on your own.
The five steps of our production process is designed for rapid application development while maintaining a high level communication and preventing timeline slippage.
The Five Steps
Planning:
The first step to getting your website off the ground is effective planning.
After an initial phone interview, an on site meeting will be conducted to
outline the project requirements. This includes, a list of pages and artwork
that need to be created, application functionality, budget, and schedule
requirements. When all the requirements have been collected, a formal proposal
will be submitted for your review. Work will begin shortly after proposal
acceptance.
Design:
From the list of requirements, the blueprints for your website will start
to be built. We will begin designing your logo, collecting photographs, and text
for the web pages. Based on your branding requirements, artists will start building the
layout and navigation for your website.
Focusing on web usability, the interfaces for your application will be
wire-framed and submitted for your review.
Development:
During development, the blueprints and design material from the previous step
are turned into actual web pages and applications. Our experienced software
developers will deliver the most important parts first to ensure there is no
project slippage. All projects are coded to the highest standards of security
and flexibility using industry standards.
Final Review:
Before the website is launched, every page on the site is inspected with a fine
toothed comb to ensure accuracy and completeness. Applications will be
throughly tested for functionality, scalability, and security. After your
final review, any changes that you had will be made immediately.
Launch:
When the website is finished, you can open your bottle of champaign and we'll
take care of the technical infrastructure. We will setup web hosting for the
site, transfer domain names, change DNS settings, and configure your email
accounts.
Weekly Status Updates
We realize how important communication is during site production. Weekly status updates and conference calls will be scheduled with your Web Production Manager. We want you to have exactly what you envision so we will give full exposure during the production process so any requests are collected early.
Your Production Manager will go over what tasks were accomplished during the last week and which ones will be worked on this week. Any road block or tasks that threaten the timeline will be discussed and solutions will be presented.
